A Little Bit About Me

My name is Christine Dvorsky. I am half Czech (my grandparents were born in the Czech Republic) and grew up in southern California. On November 14th, 2012 (3 days before my 24th birthday) I will be on my way to Prague to live and work there. I am taking a TEFL course to become certified to teach English as a foreign language!! The course is one month long and once it's finished I will start looking for work. :-) I'm starting this blog so that my family and friends back home can stay up to date with my current adventures abroad (Hence the blog title). While this is not my first time traveling to a foreign country it will be the first time that I will be living and working in a country other than the United States. EEK!

Some quick facts about me:

I LOVE TO...

• Travel (Yes, I have been bit by the travel bug. So fortunate to be able to say that this will be my fourth trip to Europe. (: )

• Work out with friends (I admit it - I am an exercise addict!! I can't go more than a couple of days without some kind of movement.)

• Run barefoot on the beach (So much better than running on pavement!)

• Learn new languages (Currently learning Czech, but also know French and some Spanish.) 

• Spend time with family and friends

• Hike 

• Do gymnastics (Why walk on your feet when it is more fun to walk on your hands?)

• Cheer (Was a UC Davis Cheerleader for three years. GO AGS!!)

• Practice yoga 

• Read
